You're mindful of who comes along for the ride and who is a part of your your village. The next 20 weeks are going to be absolutely amazing. We are honored to be a holistic resource to these exceptional Latinx founders and can’t wait to share more about the work they’re doing to create innovative solutions for the Latinx community and beyond!-The Visible Hands Team

PROJECT SUPPORT

VHLX will support with projects that help propel the cohort's startups forward, ranging from design, brand, marketing, strategy, and even recruitment.

EXPERT-LED PROGRAMMING

Founders will receive deep mentorship from industry experts and Google employees throughout the program: fireside chats, tactical workshops, office hours, pitch feedback sessions, and everything in between.

COMMUNITY

VHLX provides Latinx founders the opportunity to become a part of a close-knit cohort of early-stage founders with diverse backgrounds and skillsets. This fellowship will also connect founders with an extensive national network of investors, mentors, and industry experts.

THOUGHTS FROM OUR TEAM

Yasmin Cruz Ferrine, Visible Hands Co-Founder & General Partner:“Having a dedicated fellowship for Latinx founders is the first step in making sure that we don’t continue the patterns in the venture capital ecosystem that lead to these entrepreneurs being overlooked. Reimagining Latinx business ecosystems requires intentionality and we are thrilled to partner with Google For Startups to create programming developed with a unique level of cultural competency.”Yulkendy Valdez, Visible Hands Product Manager & VHLX Lead:“I just want to shout it to the masses - there is no shortage of qualified and capable Latinx founders! The VC ecosystem has no excuse not to increase its funding to the Latino and Hispanic communities. We will have entrepreneurs from Peru, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, El Salvador, Costa Rica; we will have founders that identify as biracial or multiracial and are also proud of their Caribbean, Black, Indigenous, and Jewish backgrounds. We have founders that speak Spanish; others that do not. Latinos are not a monolith, and VHLX will continue to be a celebration of the richness of our diversity.”Sarina Regehr, Visible Hands Product Coordinator:“The support and level of talent that’s been cultivated in the pool of VHLX applicants is unparalleled. These applicants have set a new standard for quality, determination, and drive. Even with such a competitive process, it has been refreshing to see founders uplift one another by spreading compassion and offering support.”Danny Navarro, Google for Startups“VHLX is far from an ordinary accelerator program. The Visible Hands leadership is founder-focused, provides a big bench of experts who can help, and deeply cares about supporting entrepreneurs who are all too often underestimated, especially those in the early stages of their journey. We're thrilled to co-create VHLX and advance the support and representation of Latinx-led startups across the country.”

"We see you. We value you. We need you. Your perspective is unique, your lived experience is invaluable, and your potential is limitless."
