Happy Friday to our VH Community,As we gear up for our 2022 accelerator application season, we are so excited to continue to grow our team and work towards providing even more unparalleled support for incredible, overlooked founders. This week, we welcomed our new VH Marketing Specialist, Kerry Ingram! Kerry is a Maryland native who has always had a passion for creative storytelling and expression. Growing up, she wanted to be a fashion designer and went into the cosmetology space with a plan of returning solely to fashion, but ended up falling in love with the beauty industry. She became a licensed cosmetologist at 18 and worked as a makeup artist throughout college, all while building up her social media presence online to create beauty and fashion content. She still works as a content creator in the beauty/fashion space and has made it her mission to increase representation for Afro-Latinos and women of color with “softer” aesthetics. Additionally, congrats to Jenny Li for joining VH as a full-time Partnerships Specialist! Jenny provided invaluable support to the team as an analyst during our inaugural accelerator last year.
