Hello Visible Hands community,We're excited to announce that we were chosen to receive a one million dollar grant from the Barr Foundation to help further our efforts in closing the racial wealth gap in Boston and beyond!We are working to create a space, by and for, women and POC in the entrepreneurship ecosystem to truly thrive and build their startups. We're very thankful for the support we are receiving from the Barr Foundation to further enact that creation and change.

  • Join Grid110 on 6/28 at 3pm EST for the June edition of their monthly Funding Pathways Panel! They'll discuss all things startup funding with an esteemed group of panelists, including VH's very own Associate, Darrel Frater.

  • Cela's office hours helps match founders with the right accelerator program. Founders who are accepted will have the opportunity to speak to potential accelerators and investors. Apply to participate on 6/28 at 4 PM EST!

  • Applications have launched for the LabCentral Ignite Golden Ticket contest. This program offers advisory support, a seat at LabCentral's lab space in Cambridge, and a $15,000 cash prize to diverse founders. Apply by 7/27!

  • Techstars New York Accelerator is accepting applications! During this 3-month program founders will gain access to mentors, investors, workshops, resources, and more. Apply by 8/22.

🌎 Ecosystem Spotlights:

  • Visionary Tamika Francis will be moderating a conversation with Culinary historian Dr. Jessica B. Harris of Netflix's High on a Hog on 6/27 at Cityspace Boston. In person and online ticket options are available here.

  • MassTLC is recognizing the Tech Top 50 which are the region’s technology companies, leaders, and innovations that have made a significant impact over the past 12 months. Nominations are open through 6/30!
