➕ Founder funding, community resources, and events:

  • Northwestern Mutual Black Founder Accelerator® invests in up to ten companies per year (two cohorts of five) led by Black founders. In addition to a $100,000 investment, each participating startup will receive a concierge experience during the 12-week accelerator program with the support of gener8tor.   • Showcase your business at F3 Ventures' inaugural American F3ST in Atlanta on March 31 2023 - April 2 2023! Pitch at F3ST will feature 9 female founders, 3 of whom will receive their share of $30K in funding. Learn more and apply here by February 28th.

  • Applications are open now for The Workers Lab: Innovation Fund, which funds early-stage ideas centered around making the ways our country serves workers more modern and inclusive. Learn more and apply here by March 27th.

 🌎 Ecosystem Spotlights:

  • NY State Pre-Seed & Seed Matching Fund Program: Governor Hochul of New York state announced that the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) is supporting early-stage, high-growth tech startups in NY. Specifically focused on historically marginalized entrepreneurs, the program will offer $50,000 - $250,000 in funding that will be matched with private co-investor investments. Find out if you qualify and apply today!

  • February SVB Fundraising Workshop: If you are an early-stage founder preparing to raise capital, join Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) for their monthly fundraising workshop. This program focuses on how to run an effective process for raising an institutional venture capital round. This month, David Haber, General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, will be joining on Tuesday, February 7th between 12:30 – 1:30 pm ET and you can RSVP here.

  • Our friends at AWS are opening applications soon for the AWS Impact Accelerator: Latino Founders program! Click here to learn more about the accelerator and how you can apply starting on March 8th.
