VISIBLE NEWS
December 8, 2023

Visible Hands is a VC firm that provides exceptional founders from underrepresented backgrounds with the funds, hands-on support, and community they need to thrive at the earliest stages of company building.
Happy Friday, VH Community! We're one week into December, balancing our end-of-year planning with the familiar rush of holiday festivities, year-end deadlines, and a flurry of activity. Amidst this season, it's essential to pause and acknowledge the importance of taking time for ourselves—to relax, reflect, and unwind.
It's easy to get swept up in the busyness of this season, and chances are you're a founder, therefore "slowing down" isn't normally part of your getup.
That's why this weekend, we're challenging you to slow down, take a step back, and recharge. While the holiday season can be joyous and exciting, it's also essential to acknowledge that it can bring its own set of stressors. Whether it's meeting deadlines, attending gatherings, or managing personal responsibilities, it's okay to carve out time for self-care and relaxation.
Finding moments to unwind doesn't always mean a grand gesture. It can be as simple as enjoying a cup of hot cocoa, taking a leisurely walk, practicing mindfulness, or spending quality time with loved ones. These small moments of respite can have a profound impact on our well-being, enabling us to approach the season with a renewed sense of energy and clarity.
As we embrace the festivities and close the chapter on 2023, let's also remember to gift ourselves the precious present of relaxation and reflection. Let's celebrate the year and look forward to a new chapter with renewed vigor and clarity.
Thank you for being part of our vibrant community. Wishing you all a December filled with moments of peace, reflection, and joy.
Be well,VH Team
